Introduction

...Despite re-writing the VBS file and posting it to teh intarweb, some people STILL seem to have problems with using VBS files: "HOMFUGG! My 1337 Norton AntiV1ru5 1998 softwarez said dat dat VBS file wuz a VIRIS!!"

Rather than joining them, I thought I'd beat them again... this time with a program that only works when you have DotNet installed

I'm evil, please tell me I am

Requirements

This *.exe completely replaces all *.vbs files, so you won't need them

  1. C&C - Generals Zero Hour
  2. ...Thats been either completely blitzkreig'd or a fresh installation
  3. A newly downloaded copy of TFTW, if not, it's obtainable here
  4. DotNet 1.1 (or above) Redistributable Installed
  5. It helps to be running as an Administrator, I haven't tested this script out under "Limited" or any other user group/policy yet, nor do I plan to

How do I know if I have DotNet?

If you're using Internet Explorer, you should see ".NET 1.1.4322" somewhere inside the preformatted text displayed below

CCBot/1.0 (+http://www.commoncrawl.org/bot.html)

If not, then you need the DotNet Redistributable

Instructions

This is assuming that you have a fresh installation of Generals Zero Hour

  1. Download TFTW from here
  2. Extract the files somewhere... I usually dump them in a generic New Folder on my Desktop
  3. Copy or Move (yes, there is a difference, shock horror!) the files with the extension .ftw to your Gen ZH folder's root... as in where generals.exe is stored
  4. Put this *.exe file anywhere
  5. Double click on it to run

No, I will NOT tell you how to use the override controls, speak to the TFTW Staff if you want to go and "h4x 1337 apps, shiznit!"
